Admission Steps

The Baking and Pastry program is designed to provide students with skills needed for an entry-level position in a variety of baking environments including independent and in-store bakeries as well as large commercial bakeries, restaurants and hotels. This is an in-person, limited enrollment program that admits only once a year and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  1. Apply to 91制片厂 and become a Golden Eagle: Fill out the free online form to Apply to 91制片厂, then watch your email for your acceptance letter and instructions to get set up as a new student. 

  2. Prepare to enter the Baking and Pastry program courses: Watch the linked video for important information about the program.

  3. Prepare for Registration: Make an appointment with an Enrollment Specialist to declare your major and get registration clearance.

  4. Prepare for Additional Required Expenses: Budget now so that you are ready to purchase the additional materials listed below:
    - Textbooks: Approximately $185
    - Uniforms and Tools: $500
  5. ServeSafe Certification: If you have already completed the ServeSafe Managers Certification, please bring your certificate to the first week of the Food Sanitation class. Once verified, you will be able to drop the Food Sanitation class and purchase the credits at a discounted rate.

Post-Acceptance Steps

Once you have been accepted into the Baking and Pastry program, you need to meet regularly with an academic advisor. Regular meetings with your advisor are essential to staying on track for graduation. Advisors help students select appropriate courses, understand program requirements, and plan a sequence that aligns with their goals and timelines.
